About Ticketlounge
Ticketlounge is a ticketing platform for concerts, sports, theatre and festivals in South Africa. Organisers list their own events, and buyers check out as guests, without creating an account.
What we do
Organisers register for an account and create their own events, with General, VIP, Golden Circle, Early Bird or any other ticket type, each with its own price and quantity.
New events are reviewed before they go live, so buyers aren't sold tickets to a fake or misleading listing. Once an organiser is verified, their events publish as soon as they submit them.
Buyers pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Yoco, and don't need an account. Every ticket is a QR code, delivered by email as a PDF and on a mobile ticket page, and by SMS if the buyer asks for it. At the door, staff scan tickets in a browser on any phone, and each ticket scans once.

- Each paid ticket has a service fee of R7.50, added at checkout and shown before you pay. Free tickets have no service fee.
- Organisers
- Ticketlounge keeps a 5% commission on each ticket sold, deducted from the payout. There are no setup or monthly fees.
